Solo Socialises: Fashion Bloggers’ Brunch (and more) at Pacino’s

pacinosThe monthly Fashion Bloggers’ Brunch hit Pacino’s (www.pacinos.ie) on Suffolk Street in Dublin 2 at the weekend, although it was more like breakfast, cocktails and lunch, as oppose to just brunch! Not that anyone was complaining. Quite the opposite in fact. Lots of coffee, eggs benedict and pancakes were followed by a relocation to the basement, where we were treated to a mojito-making (and drinking!) session, courtesy of Bacardi Ambassador and award-winning mixologist Paul Lambert.
Then it was back upstairs for our next meal – a late-ish lunch from the very extensive Pacino’s lunch menu. Speaking of menus, the restaurant is running a very reasonable recession-friendly one. You get two courses for a mere €10.95 – seriously, how could you go wrong with that? It’s available from 4pm ’til close, Sunday to Thursday and methinks it will prove to be very popular in these trying times.
Meanwhile, Clarins provided the goody bags, which included a very funky eyebrow kit. And we also got bags of a different sort from Julie Stafford of the ISPCC. As part of its Christmas volunteer recruitment campaign – ‘Get your Bib On’ – the organisation is giving its volunteer bibs something of a makeover. So we got one along with glue and a pack of beads, bits and bobs – and our task is to do some blinging!
