Clive Owen to appear at Jameson Dublin International Film Festival

The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival has announced that acclaimed actor Clive Owen will be coming to Dublin in February as part of the festival. Owen will be the inaugural guest of the Jameson Film Experience, where he will be interviewed by the editor of Empire Mark Dinning.
“We are delighted that Clive has taken time out of his busy schedule to come to Dublin for the Jameson Film Experience,” said Catherine O’Grady, head of PR & Sponsorship, Jameson. “We will be inviting media from all over the world to this event which will be one of the highlights of the seventh Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.”
The theme for this experiential event is the Graphic Novel genre of films and Owen and Dinning will discuss Clive’s performance in graphic novel classic Sin City.
MTV Presenter Laura Whitmore will MC the evening and world renowned VJ, DJ Yoda is creating a bespoke graphic novel themed audio set specifically for the Jameson Film Experience. The event will feature a state of the art cocktail bar serving Jameson cocktails, which are being created especially for the evening by the team at Dublin restaurant/bar Koh.
Other confirmed elements of the programme, which will be unveiled in full on January 26 include Cannes’ Palme D’Or winner The Class and the highly anticipated Irish animated film The Secret of Kells.
The seventh Jameson Dublin International Film Festival runs from February 12-22, 2009. The box office opens at midnight on January 26 and further details and schedule information are avaiable on www.jdiff.com.
