Solo Editor's Letter

Welcome to August/September’s Solo-magazine!

Issue 3: August/September 2008
Hi again everyone! Welcome to the August/September issue of Solo-magazine! Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, for the delay. We know we are very late and we promise that by October we’ll be back on schedule. Blame our tardiness on a combination of people being on hols, the weather and the recession
Anyway, this month we have a few more bits and bobs for you to read. Solo Sabbatical goes Irish dancing in search of love, while Pub Crawler has a rather unholy experience in The Church and Table For One is not impressed with Irish Rail’s gourmet offering. Solo Sights goes to see The Dark Knight and Solo Sounds is wondering where all the Irish female musicians are. Meanwhile, Solo Tabloid Tales is wondering what on earth is going on with celeb hair these days and Solo Sign Off is getting rightfully pissed off at looking at other people’s children.
And then of course there is the weather, another thing to be pissed off at. We can remember a time when August and September mean shorts, t-shirts and going to the beach. Not any more. The only sand we’re looking at now is the stuff that goes in the sand bags to stop the floods. Sigh. Here’s hoping for a sunnier winter!
